This is a warm and fuzzy starter book which goes over the history of runes, a little bit about the Nordic mythology and how the stories in the Havamal pertaining to the runes, the symbolism behind each rune individually, how to make your own rooms from scratch and which materials to use, as well as how to cast and read the stones.
It is a very short book however expertly penned with bright, beautiful & vivid pictures on every page. I love this book and consider it a treasure in my library. A great book for any beginner. ( )

This book is very helpful whe dealing with anything runes. The book shows how to make and use runes, gives detailed infromation about each rune. It also touches apon the people who origionally made and used runes and their beliefs, and also the gods and goddesses the believed in. The book is very helpful and has beautiful pictures. I would recomend this book to anyone who wants to learn about runes or even someone who uses them regularly. It is packed full of useful and interesting information. ( )

This book is a guide to everything runes. It features a short history of runes and thier origins. It touches upon the different sets or runes, the people who made and used runes, and their beliefs. It talks about the gods and goddesses associated with the runes, and gives very detailed information about each of the 24 standard runes. It features each runes meaning, both mundane and esoteric, the phonetic value in ancient languages, the diety, plant, animal, tree, bird, color, element and astrological body associated with each rune. The book features a section on making your own runes and how to actually use the runes.
