I finished The Collectors by David Baldacci. Good action and interesting setting (the Library of Congress). I started reading Foxfire: Confessions of a Girl Gang by Joyce Carol Oates with the most amazingly long sentences but I had to put it aside to read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Th ... ... book but was disappointed that the story wasn't neatly wrapped up. He got to choose the next book:
Book No. 48: The Collectors by David Baldacci. Not my kind of book. I did get a wonderful quote -- "Bibliomania: the world's gentlest obsession." The plot of the book was ... I'm giving away the abridged Camel Club box set by David Baldacci! This set includes The Camel Club, The Collectors, and Stone Cold.

As I was not enjoying The Collectors as my audio lunchtime book, I swapped in favor of Blue Balliet's The Wright 3. I just love youth lit! ... and 2) the routine lack of complete resolution/justice being handed out is frustrating. I am now three chapters into The Collectors on audio, but am not a fan so far, so I may switch out tomorrow. ... Staircase by Christopher Fowler Odd, but I would not be totally adverse to reading (or listening to) another.

Fun and insightful at the same time.
#44 The Collectors by David Baldacci (audio-book) - another one of those "I wish I'd read this instead of listened to it." books. The story was great, exciting and ... ... of Midnight for Charlie Bone) much more easily listened to and less annoying than those spoken by Americans (like The Collectors which I'm listening to now and not particularly enjoying). Maybe because I'm around Americans all the time, that the accent lets me sort of escape a little ... The Collectors by David Baldacci mooched in the door.... ... FINISHED 6/10

The first book had the potential for so much, but was actually a soap opera and never touched the meat of the issue. The second was well written, but the plot was way too far fetched for ... Finished The Collectors early this morning. Best read if, as I was, suffering from insomnia. When the brain is engaged it's a book which makes you ask "What??? How would that happen?"

It's set in India and each chapter gives you new insight into the character and life in India for the severely disadvantaged. The Collectors, ... I had an enjoyable few days with David Baldacci's The collectors but don't feel greatly inspired to go seek out his other works, then onto Indelible by Karin Slaughter who I might well follow up on.
