A great gift for one who is going off to college. I plan on giving it to my best friend who is going off to college soon. I plan to fill in all the great things we did when we were younger. I think she'd really appreciate it. Great gift for a friend, daughter. sister, aunt or cousin. I love the fact you can personalize it. ( )This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. This book would be a good gift for a teen girl who's headed off to college. I don't think that it's something that teen friends will want to give one another, but I could see an aunt or an older cousin giving it as a gift, especially if a little money was tucked inside. It's cute and cool-looking, but the advice and topics inside are not super-practical. Still, it's fun and cheery and would make a sweet little gift. A very cute fill-in the pages book for memories and advice for girls going off to college/embarking on the next adventure after college. While this would be a great gift, it's not something I would buy for a library due to the fill-in nature of the book. Something good to keep in mind for people looking for graduation gifts! This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. Definately not what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be a guide for gowing away to college. Instead I found that it is intended for you to give as a gift to your friend. It is funny and cute, a great gift to give to your bff that is going away to college! This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. An oddly impersonal fill-in book that's meant to be an intimate gift between friends. Some of the pages have some cute ideas, but it would be a much better gift if someone were to use the ideas in a handmade scrapbook rather than a fill-in book. Some of the pages seemed a little ridiculous... like I seriously doubt anyone would check this book for the number of their favorite Chinese delivery place. And there's just something very weird about seeing a page that says "Our inside jokes:" and then room for you to list them. Who would fill this out?
This little book, filled with ideas about what to bring to college and what college will bring to you, is a great little gift for a girl who's headed off to the unknown. I think that it's probably not filled with essential knowledge, but it would be a great purchase for a graduation gift, especially if some cash or a gift card was tucked inside!
As high school draws to a close, all girls have good friends they need to say goodbye to. Take Me with You makes it easier. This fill-in book is the perfect gift for any girl who wants to give her friend something more than just an ordinary graduation or off-to-college present. A humorous advice book for the first year of college, Take Me with You has an interactive, fill-in format so that each girl can personalize the book for a friend. No library descriptions found. |
