... I just finished reading One for the Money by Janet Evanovich. I love love LOVE! Evanovich. She's hilarious! I love Stephanie Plum, but Grandma Mazur is my favorite.

Still slowing slogging ... I am reading Janet Evanovich's One for the Money. I read my first Plum book, Plum Lucky, a few weeks ago and loved it, so I thought I'd start from the start. Pretty good stuff; Stephanie Plum is for me what Junie B. is for my youngest.
After One for the Money, I'm reading Songs for ... ... read it for a while now. I've got a few ARCs to go through, and I'm alternating "fun" books with them. Right now I'm in One for the Money... I love Stephanie Plum and Grandma Mazur.
BTW, I just read Coben's new book Hold Tight last week... it was very good, and has some repeat ... 15. One For The Money by Janet Evanovich mmnyeh... I've finally finished my ER book, and I'm reading One for the Money right now... but then I swear I'm gonna read this book. blushing ... I find myself elbow deep into a second novel. If she liked true crime, she might like mysteries, and Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books (One for the Money, Two for the Dough, etc) are fun and funny and Lillian Jackson Braun's Cat Who books (I have no idea what order they go in, but they have titles ... ... received No 1 Ladies Detective Agency and Perfection Salad from Bookmoochers.
And I checked out The Lady Elizabeth, One for the Money and Mist of Prophecies from the library, along with 3 YA 'encyclopedia of dinosaurs' books.
Oh, and I also received Davy Barry's books Tricky Busines ... ... by Janet Evanovich, and I have never laughed at any book in my life! After that, I picked up Plum Lovin' and mooched One for the Money... I hope the rest of the Stephanie Plum books are as funny as that one. Laughed out loud at Grandma shooting the turkey in One for the money by Janet Evanovich. Cried like a schoolgirl during Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson, The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom, A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer. Wow, there are so many more....... I have tried to listen to One for the Money by Janet Evanovich three times now. I get a little farther in the book each time but still don't want to listen to anymore. I have friends and relatives who love this series. But for me, there isn't one single character I like. ... 1965- 1966 which I've been reading off and on for awhile. And I just started reading the Stephanie Plum series with One for the Money ... is Bothell part of Seattle? is Third Place Books in Bothell? where do you like to read? bathtub; bed; coffee shops?
Broken for You by Stephanie Kallos was a good book.
hello? any one reading in Seattle? Finished the Tast of Innocence by Stephanie Laurens ...seemed a bit like par for the course. Very much like others in the Cynster series. But out of five stars...three and a half.
Also reread Heart Thief by Robin D. Owens and really liked it the second time too.

You're Not Fooling Anyone When You Take Your Laptop to a Coffee Shop ... ... end up hating it. That's what happened to me with The Artist's Way, Charlaine Harris's Dead until dark, and One for the money by Janet Evanovich. A good light, humorous series is the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. Her 13th book in the series Lean Mean Thirteen will by out in June, I think. ... encompasses anything I don't have to think too hard about. The best book I've read this year is Crime and Punishment with One for the Money and Winesburg, Ohio as close seconds. I love Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series-- I especially love all the zany characters. Grandma Mazur is my favorite.
Love the J.A. Jance Joanna Brady series--all these books are consistenly good, with excellent character development. I haven't read the J.P. Beaumont series, other ... ... books laugh-out-loud funny. Definitely light reading. Barney, the main character, reminded me of a less ditzy version of Stephanie Plum, and Hooker was very like Morelli. Except for the way he kept talking about himself in the third person, which I found vaguely creepy, possibly because the ... ... Feast for myself.
Also bought The Robber Bride and The Penelopiad for my sister who, like me, is an Atwood fan; One for the Money (Stephanie Plum) and Two for the Dough for my other sister, who needed some brain candy; The Things They Carried for the guy who will probably soon be ... ... entially).
That's after going to the same store two days ago and finding Janet Evanovich's first Stephanie Plum book (One for the Money) and Nora Roberts' Blue Smoke, which I'd read good things about here.
I've got to stay out of that place. ... laugh. Years ago I asked a workmate what Evanovich`s books were like as I`d seen her reading them. At the time I think only One for the Money and Two for the show were available over here.
Without a hint of a smile, my friend, who would have her little joke, told me that they were told from ... ... fiction genre I'd nominate Yellow Dog by Martin Amis. I seem to either love or hate his books. Time's Arrow and Money I thought were superb. On the other hand London Fields I thought was dross as well.
Another book I really disliked was The Catcher in the Rye. I can't see the ... I am currently listening to One for the Money by Janet Evanovich and am glad I found it at the library. I own but haven't yet read any of her books so this is an easy way to try out an author. I'm really enjoying her.

Janet Evanovich is great. Her books will make you laugh out loud. One for the Money is probably the gritiest of the series but they are all page turners. I would say you have to read the Plum books in order, they pick up characters etc as ...
