Nun gibt es eine interessante neue Übersetzung. Susanne (see more) Lange, eine mehrfach ausgezeichnete Übersezterin, hält sich eng an das spanische Original (wohl enger als Tieck vor 200 Jahren), das Epos ist für aber verständlicher und süffiger zu lesen als die Tieck'sche Version. Die Geschichte von Don Quijote kommt insgesamt frisch und modern daher und dürfte für viele Leser, die bisher ihre liebe Mühe mit Don Quijote hatten, eine Chance bedeuten, die Lektüre zu geniessen. Die zweibändige Ausgabe ist im Hanser Verlag erschienen (ISBN 9783446230767)."
