While I feel as though I ought, by all rights, to find this material generic and uninspired... I can't help admitting that I adore it. It makes me giggle. ( )

Five Sentence Booktalk:
Scott Pilgrim is kind of a loser. He's 23, unemployed, tooling around with his band, mooching off his best friend Wallace Wells, and chastely dating a high schooler named Knives Chau. At least, he was dating her until he met Ramona Flowers, the Amazon.ca delivery girl who literally rollerblades through his dreams. But there's a catch (there's always a catch): in order to date her, he first has to defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends. Whill he beat the baddies, win the girl, get over the past, and become as awesome as he already thinks he is? ( )
