This is one of the better guides to the use of make-up that you are likely to find. If you are at the stage where you are looking for a book that will tell you how to use this red stuff called lipstick, and why it is different from this pink stuff called blush, this is probably not the book for you. However, if you already know how to slap the stuff on, but are looking for something to help you create a more interesting/sophisticated/professional look, get this book. The examples given are show more great, and have easy to follow and realistic step-by-step instructions. There are tips that are not featured elsewhere. And the author definitely is a step beyond 'here is how to create a basic day look with three shade of taupe'.

This book is inspiring. If you love make-up, or even see it as a bit of a necessary evil, you will get something out of looking through this book. show less
