kind of reminds me of a pre-WW2 james bond; i dont like bond but jaggers is a bit better. baring in mind that this was only a year or so before WW2; there is no mention of hitler; instead the Baron is the guy who wants to take over the world; by stealing a new invention; the double wave; which is kinda like a ray gun but powerful enough to obliterate whole countries.
ive only read this book twice and both times were a struggle, the story line is quite simple and its easy to second guess what show more will happen next but its a great insight into the RAF of 1938. show less
