It's difficult to determine how to rate a book like this: a pamphlet, a series of poems telling the story of Johann Georg Elser, one of my greatest personal heroes, who tried to kill Hitler in 1939 and nearly succeeded. The book, I think, overstates his Communist affiliations, but does give an accurate picture of Elser as an extremely ordinary, sensible man who realized long before anyone else that Hitler would be the ruin of Germany and that he had to go.
This is a curiosity; nothing more.
