This extremely short book is really just a global overview of the history of Christianity from its rise from paganism until the current day. To that extent, it is useful as a very broad overview of some of the most important developments over the millennia.

The title is a bit deceptive as there is little significant discussion of the differences between Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity, although the matter is touched upon. Useful for those who are simply looking for a high level, brief show more overview of the subject and then want to delve deeper into more specific issues. show less
