Rob Ashman

This is my first book from author, Rob Ashman. You can say it was a smash hit with me. It is gritty and dark without being too gory. Although, I am not against gore. Yet, the fact that there is just enough details about the murders without being too in depth is great. It allows my mind to go into over drive.

Then there are the main leads, Kray and Tavener. I say leads as both Kray and Tavener worked really well together. Additionally, I felt that they had equal parts in this book. Although, show more I am more partial towards Kray. Just because she is tough as nails and smart too. Plus, she has a bit of a mouth on her and she is not afraid to speak her mind.

I don't know if I will think of the rhyme about the "Three Little Pigs" in the same way after reading this book. I look forward to reading the next book but while I wait I am going to go back and check out the first one. This book is a must read. show less

This is the Debut novel by Rob Ashman it is number one of a trilogy and #ThoseThatRemain really had me on the edge of my seat throughout, so much so, I even took the book with me to the hairdressers to keep me occupied for the couple of hours been coiffed.
This is such a well written thriller I didn’t want to put the book down for one second just incase something happened while I was away. The Characters are the menacing type associated with this type of book and the action packed pages show more where absolutely gripping,
This book is a must for all crime/thriller fans, it has it all it really does. I love action packed police dramas on television and I would really love to see some of Rob’s work on the big screen one day. show less
