I did not like Alistair in the first book but my opinion of him changed as I read his story. I now understand why he was so mean in the first book and I really liked his character in this book. Great follow up to a great series.

Great conclusion to a great series.

I did not like Maude in the first book either but again after reading this book I actually liked her and cared about what happened to her.

I love how this author in book#2 & #3 could take 2 characters from the 1st book who I did not like and actually make me care about them. This is a great series and a great author. I wish there were more books by this talented author.

I picked this book up at a discount book store for like $2. I am so happy that I found this book because it is a great historical romance. As soon as I was done, I had to see if there were more books in the series. I was so excited when I found out that there were 2 more books and ordered them right away. I wish there were more books by this author. Highly recommended series.
