Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
If you see me....
It's too late for you.

Kate Doyle attempts to rebuild her life after escaping from a serial killer in the woods. A copy cat serial killer taunts her with roses on her property marking her as his 7th victim after a string of women's bodies are found in rivers. As the investigations ensues, detectives find evidence that Kate's new boyfriend might not be the sweet guy she thinks he is. As the case intensifies, investigators question if Kate's show more boyfriend is their killer or is he being set up to take the fall.

Jennifer Hunt's, The Rose Reaper, is a turn pager from the first chapter. Kate's desire to live a normal life after being held captive makes readers hope that she can find happiness. Through its many twists and turns, readers will question Kate's boyfriend image of too good to be true. I enjoyed this book tremendously as it kept me on edge second guessing Kate's boyfriends involvement in the murders. This is a great read for those looking for thrillers.

Two stars for a book and possibly a series that you want to skip.

The story started interesting, and the plot move along, not a fast speed, but at a bearable rhythm. Then, all of a sudden, the book was over. Everything that was to be discovered is discovered, and that should've been the end.

Unfortunately, this happens somewhere around 60-70% of the book, which makes the rest the most boring thing I've read recently. Such a pointless bunch of pages that I cannot understand why they weren't show more removed completely from the book. It really hurts the novel and makes it one of the worse things I've read.

Trust me. Move along and skip this one.
