Bo Seo

A big thinker with an interesting blend of ideas. The book is extremely articulate, but the rhetoric and narrative is sometimes relentless and overbearing and makes me wonder if this is due to stylistic differences in orating and writing. But certainly a must-read for those who want to engage in logical and (more importantly) empathetic arguments.

Within 3 days of finishing this book I used some of its methods in a public discussion. Cool. Bo Seo intersperses direct and practical hints for managing discussions while telling of his life as a champion debater. I liked it so much it's on my list to buy.

Wonderful book. Part memoir, part history (of debate), part cross-cultural journey - insightful analysis of ways we can get past stubborn disagreement to insight and action.
