This is a thoughtful and lovely collection of short stories by women authors that celebrate kindness, whether to ourselves or others. Each story is different but has the underlying message that kindness is what really matters in this world and gives examples in story telling how we each can make a positive difference in others lives. I really enjoyed it and I think the diversity of the stories was excellent. Kudos to the publisher. Highly recommended for a feel good and hopeful read. 5 stars.

Thank you librarything for the advanced copy of Where Kindness Lives: A Women’s Fiction Anthology, in return for my honest review. There is no better time than now to read an anthology of stories with the common theme of kindness. I generally am not a short story reader, and I didn’t recognize any of the authors, but it was the right book at the right time for me. Kindness is what we can give to one another, and these tender, heartwarming stories remind us of its impact to both the show more receiver and the giver. show less

I really enjoyed this well curated collection of short stories. With a theme of kindness I knew some of them would be love stories but there were also unexpected stories about being kind to ourselves. This was really nice to see. Sometimes the world can feel dark and heavy. The variety here really kept it light without being sticky sweet.

Highly recommend for women of all ages.

I enjoyed the inspiring stories in this anthology. Kindness is often underrated. There is never an act of kindness, too small, and the stories within the pages of this book demonstrate that. Some stories are sad, heartfelt, and some have a bit of humor, but all of them resonated with me.

Thank you to LibraryThing Early Reviewers for my copy, along with Brown House Books.
