Pillars of Death is based upon a very realistic future scenario. With the escalation of biological warfare, this plot could actually happen.
I liked the layers of characters in the story, the involvement was slowly revealed, keeping me on my toes.
There were several heart-stopping moments where I thought the world was doomed. I enjoy a thriller that keeps me guessing.
I will be looking forward to the next book from this author!

Each of the 10 chapters covers a section of the North Coast of Cornwall. A map of each section shows where the shipwrecks occurred. There is an alphabetical list of the hundreds of ships mentioned in the text. And there are over 50 photos.
