4388. The Doctors Mayo, by Helen Clapesattle (read 26 Nov 2007) This book, which I finished reading on 26 Nov 2007, is a "house" biography of the doctors who founded and made the Mayo Clinic the amazing institution it is. I found the reading of the book, even though I certainly am not in the medical field, a poignant and inspiring exercise. I suppose there is more to be said about the doctors Mayo which casts them in a less noble light, but I think that their reputation and their clinic's show more reputation indicate that this book is more right than house publications sometimes are. I am glad I read this good book. show less
