Jack picked the wrong house to break into. This is because he has never met anyone like Charlee. Charlee has a "taste" for a certain kind of meat. For the moment Jack is lucky to be breathing. I love the interactions between Jack and Charlee. They were funny. This Black Widow found her man.

This book is "unhinged" in the best possible way. I love Charlee. The witty banter that she and Jack share with each other is hilarious. This book instantly made me think of the movie, Fresh starring show more Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan and the tv show, Santa Clarita Diet starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant.

Eat Your Heart Out is horror meets comedy! This is one book that you don't want to miss out. 2026 has barely started and already this book is one of my top three favorites. show less

This book is like riding a giant tide wave. It will have you trying to hold on as the Sybil takes you on quite the ride with this story. The book is broken out into four parts. The present and past. Each part shows the journey of Emily and Cohen.

Cohen is very morally grey and makes no apologies for his actions. When we first meet Cohen, he seems evil but as the story goes, we see just how unhinged he really is. His obsession for Emily makes him so.

I felt for Emily and what she was going show more through. While she may not have voiced it, in her own way she did love Cohen. The situation she found herself in may not have been ideal but every time she acted out in defiance, I cheered. show less

Holy wow what did I just read?! I could not put this book down and stayed up most of the night into the wee hours of the morning to finish it. It wasnt a full book, but I did start it late at night, wasnt planning on the 'just one more chapter' excuse that I usually avoid.

This one had me hooked. Cold, twisted, and I loved it despite the triggers (I'm learning to compartmentalize them). Highly recommended.

I love both authors, S.K. Pryntz and Sybil Knight. What a treat to have both collaborating on this book. This is one book that you are not going to want to miss. It you are a fan of Black Christmas reads; you will want to download this book ASAP!
