This book is based on the author's experience in teaching more than 1000 people how to program microcomputers. It is strongly structured. Chapters proceed from simple to complex. The order of the chapters needs to be followed. Without doing the programming exercises, it will be impossible to realize the full value of this book. This really is a "learn by doing" book.
The Z80 Instruction Codes can be found in Appendix E.
Z80 to 8080 Equivalence can be found in Appendix F.
8080 to Z80 Equivalence show more can be found in Appendix G.
Note. Radio Shack put a new cover on this book with a different title, How to Program the Z80, but on the inside, the old title page and contents are exactly the same as the SYBEX book, Programming the Z80. show less

The ultimate guide for Z80 programming. I used this book for many years in the late 1970 and early 1980s, when I was working on my BEng and MApplSc project.
