About the Author
Mike Dean has worked as an ecological consultant since 1997, with roles in consultancies from the very small (one or two staff members) to the very large (multi-disciplinary consultancy), and a few in between. He has undertaken ecological surveys and produced ecological reports of all different show more types and sizes. He has been a key contributor to CIEEM's guidelines on, amongst other things, ecological report writing (published in 2017), and has delivered training on this subject on behalf of CIEEM. show less

More of a personal memoir than a book about ISA
I originally read this based on the ISA crest on the cover, thinking it would be an unclassified overview of probably the most secretive unit in the US military - ISA. This was much more someone's personal career memoir and very little of it focused on ISA (where he worked in some support capacity); if you are primarily interested in ISA, this isn't really worth reading -- Killer Elite is the only decent choice.
