Very cute. Starts with the traditional rhyme, but the other foot does much more exciting things. So the original toes set off to do their own exciting stuff, before they get tired and go through a bedtime routine. Sweet, and cleverer than I thought originally looking at the cover.

I liked this book for several reasons. The first reason was for the illustrations. They are minimalist and colorful, which I think would really appeal to young readers and help them become interested in the book. I also liked the language used in the book. It heavily utilizes sight words and repetition to help develop reading skills. This books main purpose is for young readers to develop their reading skill.

picture book (babies, toddlers, preschoolers)
perfectly acceptable storytime book inviting participation (even if the crowd is too big to see the pictures). Tug your ears, blink your eyes, pat your tummy, etc. It's not really a favorite storytime share, but it works perfectly well even with large crowds.
