Quick Impression: For the first time in my life, I’m really learning that how I (as a woman) think is not how men think. Like, not anywhere close. This was a really interesting read and made me re-think the ways I interact with the men in my life. Rinehart had a lot of great insights — highly recommended to any woman who ever interacts with a man. As an aside, this cover makes me want to gag.

There is no contraceptive for a broken heart -- that's what the sex-without-commitment generation has discovered. And now the church has an unprecedented opportunity to reach it. Sex on campus is often about as personal as two airplanes refueling. Indeed, the phrase is "hooking up." With irresponsible, illicit sex, all the worst possibilites in human relationships take shape: hurt, betrayal, jealousy, rejection, a growing inability to trust.
This book is about "finding what you long for, where you might not think to look." The message of the book is to not settle or become overwhelmed with life's disappointments. God is there. He is sovereign and He has a bigger plan for you than you do for yourself. This book has a nice mix of teaching, quotes, scripture and real-life stories to validate its points.

My only let down with this book is that it seems to be written for women quite a bit older than me (I'm in my 20s). Also, at some show more points it seems to give the hope that there is something more without talking too much about how to reach it. Overall, a good book! show less
