Ann Fielding

This is a little treasure found in a box my parents kept for many years--years from before I was born and my dad visited my mom's old abode in Maui. Fielding is knowledgeable and clear and the book comes with good photos. It's not touristy like many books of its size, but includes natural history details that aren't just common sense or published in every other general audience book. They're specific and intriguing--I'd elaborate but I can't check I'm remembering facts correctly because my show more dad was intrigued and walked off with the book after I finished. Simply, it's a good little book. show less
