What can one say about a classic? Most readers grow up on Swift, believing he wrote for children, which is rather bizarre given his satire on politics and nationalism. In any case, this early 20th-century edition straddles both lines, with wonderful (and satirical) illustrations by Milo Winter and larger type for kids.
Still, this is an adult book, but one that should certainly be enjoyed by all. The term, "yahoo", also used later by Dickens in his volume on the United States, originated in show more Gulliver's Travels. So, we are indebted to Mr. Swift for his forward thinking.
This edition is part of the Windermere Series, which would take classics and make them palatable for family members. This is a rare book, but if you need to start collecting books, the Windermere group is a great place to start.

It was ok. Overly long in my opinion. But then most were in this era. Just glad I can say I read it.
