It's not easy and maybe a bit morbid to say that I liked this book. It's not a type of book one 'likes'. But it's a very important book everyone should read who wants to understand what happened and how it was possible to happen. A poignant read.
A very factual, sometimes a bit dry but still touching book about the short and unsuccessful uprising of the sondercommando of Auschwitz. Especially recommended if one read Greif`s We Wept Without Tears and/or seen the Oscar winner Son of Saul as from this book you`ll know the antecedents, circumstances and the tragic outcome of the uprising,.
