This is a very good book for somebody who is just thinking about working with options in general and covered calls in particular. No revelations here just all the required information. The author plugs his own premium online service but that is to be expected nowadays - and he doesn't do it excessively. My main gripe is that author makes the strategy looking too faultless, making the impression that if you follow his recommendations the success will come. In the end of the day you will only show more do well if you read the market correctly all the time - and nobody does it right constantly. Another problem for me is ignoring cash based puts. Although author briefly mentions it, he skips how such puts can work together with covered calls and various exit strategies it would open. Still, overall a good introduction into covered calls plus a lot of other financial information - not necessarily related to the main topic - that is written in a very simple language and would be useful for any newbie. show less
