Loved this book! I chose this book after I read the summery and it did not disappoint! At 70 pages, it is a quick sweet read. It kept my attention right from the very beginning until the very end.
Valerie is single, curvy girls who buries her head in a book rather than get her heart broken. I loved how realistic Valerie was in her attitude and fears. Her lack of self-confidence in herself and in show more Keith was very genuine in what many woman feel.
Keith is a photographer who has been dropping hits and flirting like crazy with Valerie to no avail. He now plans a wonderful and sweet day to change her mind. He comes across as the guy that everyone would like.
The chemistry between Keith and Valerie is wonderful and beautiful. The sex scenes were hot and steamy. I loved how realistic the sex scenes were. The story moved at a very convincing pace.
The only thing that would have made this story better is if it was longer. Overall, this was a great sweet read! While I have not read anything by K. B. Alan before, I am definitely going to pick up other books by this author. show less

I got too emotional and I did not like that Ethan had cheated Rose at the last minute by cancelling going to their high school prom. From an early age Rose had set her sights on going to California to get her degree in computer programming then setting some goals not to live pay check to pay check with a nine to five job. She never expected to return to her small town home where everyone knew your business and sixteen years later here she was returning home as she had finally quit her job show more and now had clients of her own, then she ran into Ethan. I NOW understood why Ethan had to cancel taking Rose to the prom and turning down the scholarship and staying in Wildlife Ridge. Now I can't wait to read book two! show less
I love this book!! It was a great story from beginning to end. It has a rather rough start due to the nature of her being changed. It was very nicely written and not too overwhelming. I loved the dynamic between all the characters and the supporting cast romance. I would love to see more books making this a series. At least a followup on the other turned human who escaped. I really enjoyed the writing and have read the book a couple times. Plenty of steam to keep you busy!!
This book was ok. I didn't like the first pack at all and the second one was really accommodating and sweet. There was one part that just didn't line up for me. These are shifters so when faced with a potential threat I don't expect them to go all OK Corral and start using guns. They can turn into wolves for heaven's sake. There were some editing issues but they were minimal so I overlooked them. Overall, an ok book but needed something more.
