A great collection of short stories loosely based on people the author has met or has known in the small border town of Tecate Mexico.
The only criticism is that some of the stories end far too abruptly.
There are at least two other books in the series that I will have to track down.

Gentle, sweet short stories set on the border in Tecate. Reveles has done a beautiful job of blending fantasy and reality and his story-telling pulls the reader in right from the first paragraph. He creates people we'd like to know and people about which we'd like to care. There's a lot of heart in his stories and that makes them easy to read and even easier to enjoy.
