Island to Abbey: Survival and Sanctuary in the Books of Elsie J Oxenham 1907 to 1959 by Stella Waring
I was really looking forward to this title being published, however it's not as well written as I expected. It is a chronological approach to Oxenham's work, whereas I expected a more thematic approach from the title. It mainly consists of plot summaries of her books and publishing history which doesn't particularly interest me. Some of the appendices are useful but that isn't really enough for me.
