Fallen Angels is my favourite Wong Kar Wai film and I'm so a little biased in liking this book. There are lot of nice photographs taken by Doyle here, that fit in with the mood of the movie, and his comments here and there, about the shooting, or the characters, are great little snippets too.

These are decent enough photos by Doyle, and the style is reminiscent of how he shot Chungking Express and Fallen Angels for Wong Kar Wai, but ultimately I think Doyle is far better at capturing moods rather than people.

Of all the books I've been able to get a hold of by Christopher Doyle this is the best. It simply combines good photographs with a lot of interesting information and stories about the making of Happy Together.

Very much recommended for fans of the film, and those hunting down Doyle's books.
