More Making Books by Hand: Exploring Miniature Books, Alternative Structures, and Found Objects by Peter Thomas
This a delightful book that describes the artistry that goes into the making of a handmade miniature book. I have several limited edition miniatures in my collection by Peter and Donna Thomas. [mbbb/2006@Boarders,Tucson]
bedtime story told by Peter and Tanya Thomas. It is letterpress printed on Peter’s paper with cuts by Donna Thomas.‿ Handbound in cream suede leather with raised bars on the spine. Cover title stamped in gold.
Edition of 130 numbered copies. First 90 copies printed on Peter's paper and last 40 copies on Hayle English made paper. This is copy #30 on Peter's hand made paper with feathered edges. Book is hand bound. [Bradbury p.304, #5] "This is one of the very few presses where the proprietors, write the text, create the art for the illustrations, make the paper, handset the type, print on letterpress, and bind the book."
