Good book with a wide range of information on everything bicycle. Could be fun to guess, does it have this....? and it probably does. Also has good information for the serious bike rider, too much to me, but a girl can dream. For now if I try to build up to a regular ride, then I can go back and look at more tips to keep building. So glad I have it for a reference material.

Only giving it a 4 because it is a 2011 book, I don't know what other alternative books are out there, and a lot of the show more serious bike rider stuff goes over my current interest level. show less

So far this is proving to be a great resource for me as I get started with my first road bike and it looks like it will give me basic advice on everything from buying a bike to doing a century ride.
