The characters were too cartoony visually, especially compared to the authentic and lovingly portrayed scenery; but the humor was excellent. I was won over in the first scene. Priceless.

Some cheesy parts but overall a lot of fun.

Aside from Cars 2 (which I haven't seen), this is pretty clearly the worst Pixar movie. There are a few good moments in it, and some stretches where it's even a little fun. But other parts, like the first half hour, are unwatchably bad.
