I love this book! It's a guide to beauty that is positive and affirming. It takes you through the steps of really looking at yourself -- your coloring, textures, proportions, etc. The approach is that every woman is beautiful and should learn to dress in concert with her own style of beauty. The examples of various figure types and other categories come from great works of art, and rather than telling you how to "hide your flaws", for each body characteristic it tells you how to play it up show more *or* down -- even big thighs or a dowager's hump. show less
