The Genuine Article. by Hazel Osmond. Alternative title - The First Time I Saw Your Face by Hazel Osmond
Thoroughly enjoyable and I was rooting for Matt/Mack and Jennifer all the way (will they, won't they) and what was going to happen when Matt would reveal to her about his deceit. Lots of comedy thrown in, but horribly despairing moments juxtaposed jarred somewhat.
Sweet, funny and poignent. The build up between Ellie and Jack was better than the rest, but a feel-good book all the same.
Oh, book... Why do you tempt me with good reviews just to see my dreams of reading you die when I go to Amazon and can't find you? Why, book, why?!
