Quite a fun book for young adults. Got it first from my Middle School library. Trying to get my middle schooler to read it. It takes a little getting into as you learn who Danny is, who the voice he speaks to all his life is, what the wildlife is around the planet, and who the new voice is. A little bit of puppy love and good's fight against evil. My favorite book from that time of my life. Reread it a few years ago.
I read this book several times as a YA but couldn't remember the title nor author. The Name that Book forum finally tracked it down for me. Wish I could find a copy that didn't cost $50 and renew my acquaintance.
