Exceedingly practical. Step-by-step instructions for designing a curriculum from scratch, stretched out over 8 chapters. Plenty of examples of actual courses and their rationales, intended learning outcomes, teaching strategies, etc, though these tended to be lengthy and hard to stay focused on. Wished the authors had laid out the steps in an appendix instead of making us hunt through the entire text.
