I remember thinking this bk was surprisingly good. It's glossy, w/ alotof fotos, &, as such, before I read it, I was expecting a shallow bk re pop music. In other words, b/c it has the high production values that usually accompany mass-market stupidities, I didn't expect it to be a serious bk on the subject. Much to my pleasant surprise, it's got alotof good info - including many choice fotos that I've never seen anywhere else.
