Inferno by Kate Austin is a short novella that I chose to read because I wanted to read Elise’s journey as she opens her own business and the promise of finding love. Elise has sacrificed material possessions and a love life for the past five years so she could save and focus on opening her own floral shop. Enter Dante. He has returned back home to save and return his family’s restaurant, show more Inferno, back to prominence.

Dante walks into Elise’s floral shop and both of their worlds are forever changed. There is an immediate attraction between the two of them and Elise begins to feel things that have not been ignited for quite some time. Dante and Elise develop a business relationship that matures into a romantic one.

Inferno did not have any sex scenes, but the heat was definitely present as we can tell by this passage: “Time for sex. Her body heated up at that thought. Hot steamy sex. Slow erotic savoring sex. Sex of the most joyous and celebrational kind. Dante Caletti didn’t look like a man who did anything in half measures.”

While a complete story was developed in this short novella I believe there could have been more depth if there was not as much repetition. Overall, this was a quick and enjoyable read.

Finding that perfect one and realizing without them she can't orgasm. Rich detail, I really wanted to read more at the end.
