This book could easily catch a child's attention with its visual appearance. This book shows different styles of clothing worn by many different cultures. The illustrations by John Bennett are very colorful and exciting to look at. Clothes from Many Lands is very repititious but it still is very informative. This book showed just how different American children dressed compared to foreign children. The genre for this book is informative.
