Charlene Teglia is quickly becoming one of my favorite erotica authors. Her stories have a bit of a darker edge yet don’t cross the line of suspense or horror…they aren’t THAT dark. And her touch with love scenes is very good, there’s no doubt the stories are erotica, yet I don’t lose the story because of the sex, if you follow. Her latest, “Animal Attraction”, is paranormal erotica that actually made logic of a multiple-partner show more love scene and a ménage relationship.
Chandra has long come to terms with being an adopted child. She never lost interest in finding out about her birth parents, but hasn’t had much luck with that so far. Since her twenty-first birthday though, things have been getting a bit strange. There are the strange dreams that she can’t quite remember, her senses are doing strange things, and now she has apparently made enemies out of total strangers! Like today, when three people tried to knife her and some hottie saved her and then kissed her. But he was dangerous; she could just ‘feel’ it. Then she finds out what’s going on and what makes her so different—she’s a rare female werewolf, about to go through her first change, and to really belong to the local pack she needs to be intimate with a dozen dazzling specimens of manhood and then pick one to be her mate and king. Ohhhh kay.
Like I said, somehow Teglia made the whole one female, twelve men orgy scene logical, and let me tell you that’s no easy feat! There are, of course, sexual positions and acts galore in this story, but none of them overshadow the story itself. Instead they are an intricate part of the tale which is, for me, the true mark of erotica. The acts are described in graphic terms which may offend non-erotica readers so be warned. There are scenes with one, two, three, and four partners; oral sex, anal sex, vaginal sex, and skin sex. All described in a manner that will make you reach for a fan, a glass of water, and maybe even a cigarette when you’re done!
“Animal Attraction” is going directly to my keeper shelf…do not pass go, do not collect $200. It’s a story that has many of my favorite themes in paranormal erotica: werewolves (of course, I don’t turn away vampires either!), a strong heroine who does some butt-kicking herself, normality turned upside-down, a ménage with a happily ever after, and all sex is hot, safe, and consensual. If these things ‘call’ to the animal in you, you’ll definitely love Charlene Teglia’s latest. show less

WWW was hot, sexy, steamy, sizzling and yummy. The book tells the story of three couples with about 1/3 of the book devoted to each couple. Three women and three cowboys meet in an espresso cafe in Missoula Montana. They pair up and each couple has an extremely erotic evening which leads to relationships and happy endings. The last story started going into that sub-dom crap I hate and I started to think I better skip it, but it was very lightly done and never got really heavy. If you like show more your erotica with romance and happy endings, then you'll love this one. show less
What a delightful romantic romp! "Catalyst" by Charlene Teglia showcases the author's ability to combine humor, romance, and spicy sexual tension into a very entertaining read.
Well, librarian Veronica has just been kicked out of her apartment...again! People just don't understand her cat, Sebastian. Since Veronica is about to turn 30, she decides her prince must have gotten lost so she might as well buy her own home and settle down with Sebastian the cat. On her first morning in her new show more home and in dire need of caffeine, she runs to her neighbor's house to borrow a cup of coffee, and WOW! Maybe her prince has been waiting for her too?
Scott has just seen the last of his buddies married. The swinging single life just doesn't seem to be cutting it any more. His Mom's fix-up blind dates are a nightmare so what's a guy to do? Whoa Baby...he just caught a glimpse of the vision that moved in next door. Maybe she's the one?
This is a sweeter, but still pretty darn sexy, story from Teglia put out by Cerridwen Press. The majority of the story is about the seduction on both sides and there's a silly misunderstanding near the end, but it's still an entertaining read! show less

For what it is - very steamy erotica - this book is stellar. Sybil, an apprentice witch whose coven won't let her do magic, unwittingly becomes a host for demonic magic. She's rescued by Kenric, a sexy werewolf, who takes her back with him to the Shadow Guardians - a vampire, werewolf, demon, dragon and fae - who guard the five gateways to the world. In order to control the magic and save the world, Sybil must earn the mark of Inanna, the sex goddess, by sharing herself with all five Shadow show more Guardians. Meaning, lots of explicit sex. Supernatural sex. Group sex. The plot seems rather inconsequential in a book like this, but it was still there. And Teglia's writing is fresh - Sybil feels like a real person, and the men (in particular Kenric and Kadar, the dragon) are distinct from each other. Definitely a book I enjoyed reading with my husband. ;-) show less
