Excellent production; an amalgam of actual and fictitious stories of the fabled "Christmas Eve Truce on the front" during WW1. The individual story lines are interesting, although predictable, and the actors are excellent.
One small scene of marital intimacy makes it unsuitable for some ages. The violence is reasonably sanitized, in the context.

Waargebeurd verhaal, zich afspelend aan het front in de winter van 1914. Wanneer de Kerst aanbreekt gebeurt er echter iets volkomen onverwachts. In die nacht leggen de soldaten de wapens neer om Kerst met elkaar te vieren.
