Reviews
This is a well researched "business biography" which will appeal to those who read the daily newspaper business pages. It is written in the business journalism style; it's not in the "as told to" format. According to the author, It is not written as an authorized biography, although it had the support of Mr. D'Alessandro and the Manulife corporation. It was generally sympathetic and respectful of D'Alessandro and only in the last chapter did the author veer towards being fawning. All in all show more it is a balanced account of the time that D'Alessando ran Manulife. show less
