Darcy gives great instructions about various appliqué techniques to use with her patterns, as well as embroidery instructions for doing the eyes and other details on the horses. There are 11 projects in this book. I love how Darcy always provides extra information allowing you to customize these projects.

Excellent attention to detail, this book is a first that focusses on realistic aquarium fish in applique. You can do either hand or machine applique and use whatever fabrics you like. Use metallic thread to add sparkle.

I am an intermediate quiltmaker and I'm a just starting to machine applique. Although my initial results aren't up to snuff, the fish still looks fabulous.
