This book was a semi-confusing episode of Law & Order. There are a TON of characters that makes it somewhat complicated to follow. If you make it to the end there is a pretty shocking surprise (& I pride myself on figuring out the crime TV culprits way before their reveal… but didn’t see this coming at all). Footprints of a Dancer by Bob Avey was a good read. It kept my interest. It is obvious that there are other books in the series, but enough information was given so that didn't keep me from enjoying the story. The ending got a bit surreal, and there was some ambiguity at the end. I imagine that is for a lead-in to another book in the series.
