Luke Hankins' first collection of poems, Weak Devotions, was published by Wipf & Stock Publishers in 2011. He is the editor of Poems of Devotion: An Anthology of Recent Poets, published by Wipf & Stock in 2012. His chapbook of translations of French poems by Stella Vinitchi Radulescu, I Was Afraid of Vowels...Their Paleness, was published by Q Avenue Press in 2011. He attended the Indiana University M.F.A. program in Creative Writing, where he held the Yusef Komunyakaa Fellowship in Poetry. He serves as Senior Editor at Asheville Poetry Review, where he has been on staff since 2006. His poems, essays, and translations have appeared in numerous publications, including American Literary Review, Contemporary Poetry Review, New England Review, Poetry East, and The Writer's Chronicle, as well as on the American Public Media radio program "On Being."
