A pretty funny read, haven't tried the recipes. Not your usual cook book prose :-) Trader Vic is a salty guy, and doesn't mince words.

Trader Vic's Book of food & drink by Trader Vic

Chicken with pineapple, p. 166, this reviewer liked it better than any local Chinese take out, but other three disliked it for varying reasons. Basic & simple.
Caribbean Punch, p. 78. mild; reduce water to 116 oz., increase Jamaica rum to 18 oz.. increase curaçao to 4.5 oz., falernum at 1 c. yum.
