About the Author
Sarah Rees Brennan (b. 1983) is an Irish writer known primarily for YA fantasy fiction. She began her first novel, The Demon's Lexicon, while working on her MA in Creative Writing. It was published in 2009, and followed by The Demon's Covenant and the Demon's Surrender, the second and third books show more in the Demon Lexicon Trilogy. Interestingly I almost DNF'ed this book at the start but I think that is because cancer and all of the grief, anger, and feeling helpless that comes with it hits way too close to home. Once we got further into the story I was hooked! So many twists I didn't see coming (which is unusual for me) and a character death that I was actually sad over! I can't wait for this to continue!… (more)
