This book just made me feel better. It’s lush and slow, tender and funny, and it made me feel better.

Dex and Mosscap and Panga continue to offer a space of peace and healing—if Chambers writes twenty volumes I'll read every one.

Such a bingable and immersive story! This book really reminded me of why I love sci-fi so much: authors truly get the chance to stretch their imagination and come up with futures, planets, sciences, and all kinds of things that are unfamiliar or new to the reader. Add that to the coziness of this tightly knit crew and the result of one hell of a book. Just really what I wanted to read right now!

A solid addition to the Wayfarers series! Although I definitely liked the first book better, primarily because it had more space action, Chambers never fails to impress me with the characters and species she comes up with. They're so engaging and well fleshed-out that it makes her stories even more enjoyable.
