The first few chapters cover how Ms. Chase buys groceries - her tips for navigating the grocery store, how she shops the circulars, and how she uses coupons. There are some great pointers on how to make your money stretch farther. The majority of the book includes recipes, along with what she spends to make them. While prices do fluctuate a bit, I found that some of her "best price" examples were prices I had seen in my stores, so overall, the idea of making her dishes at such low prices isn't unreasonable.
